Does this game come with a sound pack? I like to play muds with sound packs in them.

what an absolutely unfriendly game.

oopsy doopsy, looks like you chose a flawed layout... bye bye!
deaths: Liam Erven has just died due to being an idiot and purchasing a space comet.

Well, didn't I warn you in the tutorial about flawed layouts?
As far as soundpacks go, there *was* a soundpack, but who knows how good it is anymore because messages were changed.

you kids and your bairly usable muds.
miriani rip off? *cough cough*

Post 6 by billdengler (Generic Zoner) on Monday, 30-Jul-2012 10:45:36

;Not so much. To be honest I think the Miriani space system is, well, too easy to work with. Come on, type m and pick your destination and be teleported there? Seriously? What kind of "challenging game" is that.

fantastic. purchase premade layout. don't give user a chance to see layout. user has to guess whether or not to add rooms. Decide not to add rooms because you don't know what to add. power up ship. get insulted by game. die. Yeh. Have fun with your game.

Post 8 by billdengler (Generic Zoner) on Monday, 30-Jul-2012 23:31:00

Thanks for your suggestion. When purchasing a starship layout, you now get the price of the layout, a list of rooms, and a description from the layout's manufacturer.

sorry i agree with liam on this.

for the fun of it, i joined up and here's what i found:

A, i'm not even sure what my name on the mud is, because apparently when i typed my char's name it still displays my username (so not quite sure what the char name was for!)

B, i was online with someone else at the time- and in sted of helping me that person just left in their ship which is rude in my opinion- as i did try and follow them to attract their attention

c. not quite sure what all these races have to do with space

D. what's with the name of the spaceports?. they are pretty strange

E. i did get a ship eventually, but have no idea how to make it go, or get past the bridge

and F.. someone tell me how to kill my char- because it was a waste of time me signing up

The name issue is a bug, and i'm working to correct it.
Did you read the getting started tutorial? If not, much of the same information is in the helpfiles.
Deleting your character is in options > character options

thanks for your help. :).

Post 12 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Tuesday, 31-Jul-2012 15:59:45

Fix the layout, clean up the bugs, and I might check it out.

Post 13 by billdengler (Generic Zoner) on Tuesday, 31-Jul-2012 23:14:34

I've implemented a better checking system for the name bug. If you still appear as your accouNt name, type @bug and file a bug report.

I'm now working on making the game slightly more dificult, just in case anyone here on the forums thought that the game was a bit too easy.

Post 15 by roxtar (move over school!) on Sunday, 05-Aug-2012 18:12:38

is this the game i was reading about on the audiogames forum with the diaper spaceport or whatever? lmao. I'll never understand... oh well

Post 16 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Monday, 06-Aug-2012 3:22:16

lol yes it is.

strange name for a spaceport

Post 17 by billdengler (Generic Zoner) on Sunday, 12-Aug-2012 14:21:17

Okay, we heard you. I'm loosening the roundtime system, a lot.  See the in game changelogs and announcements for details.

Post 18 by peppermintpatti (Generic Zoner) on Monday, 20-Aug-2012 19:51:33

Oh my goodness knocking a person for creativity? I get that the game has bugs but why do people have to be so rude?

Post 19 by billdengler (Generic Zoner) on Monday, 20-Aug-2012 20:45:13

I'm updating the space system for 3D, as I know many of you requested it. Also, you may now conquer stars as many of you seem to have interest in that type of thing. Don't like a planet? Change it! Conquer that star, get control of Diaper, and build or destroy as you see fit. Have an idea for a new planet? Build it! See help playerbuilding for details.

Post 20 by roxtar (move over school!) on Thursday, 23-Aug-2012 5:41:51

Why the fuck did you name a planet diaper? Seriously, is there some backstory or something? I wasn't going to comment on this again, but i just have to ask? Why, Why, why?

Post 21 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Thursday, 23-Aug-2012 6:51:29

lol yes... i'd like to ask that myself?

um
